Of course, BIN BULAYE BARAATI is strictly for those who love masala films, the 'single screen audience' in trade parlance.ĭurjan Singh is a dangerous dacoit from Chambal. Though the film may not boast of a novel plot - we have witnessed similar stories in the past - and you may even complain that the screenplay tilts towards ridiculous and absurd, but the fact is that the entertainment quotient keeps you hooked at most times. The sole motive/intention is to entertain. Director Chandrakant Singh does just that.īIN BULAYE BARAATI follows the footsteps of successful masala movies, which defy rationale and logic. well, a leave-your-brains-at-home entertainer is ready to be served. Take a wacky script, pack gag after gag, cast names with good comic timing.
Non-stop laughathons are considered safe bet at the box-office. Shweta Bharadwaj looks alluring in her item number.Bin Bulaye Baarati Review & Review Rating Mallika Sherawat is good in her item number. Talented actors like Om Puri, Vijay Raaz, Sanjay Mishra and Rajpal Yadav are wasted. In fact, his gay act caricaturist and offensive. Priyanka Kothari needs to seriously work on her acting skills. Gulshan Grover is fine, but his character lacks the cruelness required for a villain. Pranav Dhiwar's editing is tacky.Īftab Shivdasani acts well. Johny Lall's cinematography is unimpressive. The predictable climax is totally uninspiring.Īnand Raj Anand's music is passable. Its plot of zeroes turning heroes by saving the villagers from the bad guys is done to death in the past. As if the other jokes were not enough, you have Black Cobra's gay brother Sajjan Singh (Johny Lever), who makes for all the homophobic jokes. But it turns out to be a tedious watch and a test of your patience. While on the run, they are joined by the trio of Murari (Rajpal Yadav), Hazari (Sanjay Mishra) and Chetta Singh (Vijay Raaz), who are also being chased by the police. PP also happens to be Shreya's mama, who is against her relationship with AD. He gives the responsibility of selling off a bag full of jewels worth 50 crores to petite goons Gajraj (Mukesh Tiwari) and Ranjeet (Hemant Pandey). Gulshan Grover returns to his patented 'Bad Man' image as he plays the ferocious dacoit Durjan Singh aka Black Cobra. And having as many as three item numbers, it clearly aims to be a complete masala film. BIN BULAYE BARAATI boasts of having umpteen comedians, who have tickled our funny bones time and again.
